Kevin "Kev" Ross Sinclair (born January 6, 2010) is an American musician, artist, animator, singer, writer, and songwriter. He is the founder, lead guitarist, backing and lead vocalist, and the primary songwriter for his band, Riot! For More ™. He releases his solo music, artwork, writing, animations under his internet persona, JustBeingImaginaKev or ImaginaKevHere as an alternative name.

Personal Life

Early Life

Sinclair was born in New York. He is the oldest child to his father but second youngest to his mother. He has an older half-brother and two younger brothers.

He's been known to have a huge interest in the arts, specifically for writing, music, and drawing. During his young years, he's "often dreamt of singing in theater and being a YouTube animator."

Sinclair went to Hamilton Elemetary School and was known to have "tantrums" and therapy for those at the time, unknown conditions. He never officially graduated Hamilton as the COVID Pandemic occured and he switched.

He then attended Amani Public Charter School in 2020 for a year having spent his time online doing "nonsense with the free time," until the next years that became in person classes again. He graduated in June 2024.

Sinclair attended in 2024 and is still currently in the Mount Vernon STEAM Academy as of 2026.

Mental health

Sinclair has been diagnosed with ADHD between the years 2019 and 2021 and currently suspected of having Autism in 2026. For most of his life, he has struggled with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, childhood trauma, and the thoughts of suicide.

He has always been open to talk about his mental health and attributes his issues to his childhood. He's stated that his parents "fought every weekend from what I remember. My father was an alcoholic, a crazy one. He could be happy but anything that pissed him off made him hostile. It made me quiet for my school life because he always had a hostile tone for anything I did."

Sinclair has often praised his parents stating "My dad was one side and my mom was the other. I learned to see what was scary and what was safe. I've learned to be aware of my own emotions because of how my parents were. My mom understood my dad but my dad didn't understand himself. I didn't want to be like them, unaware to hurt others like my dad but also too aware to know I'm letting myself get hurt like my mom. But even sometimes the roles switched."

Sinclair suffers through major anxiety. He assumes the worst of his life. He struggles to eat due to being afraid of throwing up. He believes he has an illness whenever his body shows any sign of struggle. He often avoids large crowds to protect himself of any future sickness as he believes there's always AT LEAST ONE sick person. He overthinks panic attack situations due to being afraid of not being able to walk away and relax with the fresh air..

He believes near the end of his life, he will reach a stage in which he will gain dementia. Yet he's also afraid of that.

He has chosen to never choose to end his life regardless of suicde thoughts. Life is too precious, this goes out to everyone who's struggling. These words may not be strong or helpful at all but life really is a mystery, and although it's scary, to me, it's what keeps me going. In the end it'll be worth it. I know it.

Health

He openly speaks on his decisions to not smoke, drink, nor use drugs due to the fear of side effects, including death. Drinking is something he's highly against doing due to his father being an alcoholic. His father was pronounced dead until he came back a few seconds later and has since denied the use of it in the future.

Religion

His family is Catholic and he is, due to his knowledge, the only one who doesn't believe in religion because "religion is worth questioning in morals and outdated in some ways." He is an atheist. Or agnostic, who knows? It switches.

He would argue with those who have any signs of forcing a religion onto people as he knows this is America and people have the right to have the freedom of religion. Not just one. ALL. Unless it's in a place to debate, that's the ONLY spot.. so far.

Romantic Relationships

In 2023-2025, he has met people online and "dated" some for a short time and during this period, he was a closed, short-tempered, and manipulative person which has caused them to end the relationship and cut off contact. Recently, he has tried to apologize to them with obsessive-like behavior and only a short amount responded in which they ended in good or decent terms, to his knowledge, and never spoke after. He truly regrets his actions and wishes he'd never done them in the first place.

He's been in a relationship with Ellie since 2025. Halfway through freshman year, they had a sleepover and Sinclair admitted his feelings and Ellie accepted.. That was a day before their official relationship as Ellie was unsure due to another person liking him until Sinclair reassured her that it wasn't going to happen. Unsure how to respond, she awkwardly responded but that marked the beginning.

Political Views

Sinclair struggles understanding the concept of hate as he questions the purpose of people hating others simply for being human and themselves. He is open about human rights, LGBTQ+ rights, trans rights, and equality. He has said he "would always be in favor of the people, not the money, or anything just for benefit. Trends are stupid. Just start loving others or ignore them. Not kill them, hurt them, or make them the enemy. If do that and see no issue, well then you're selfish and a fucking bigot."

As a joke, he says that there should be one government for the world. His explanation for such is to "keep the world as it is but have one good person with no greed and proper thinking to form specific rules that wouldn't really interfere with how the world is now and the only thing that they should dictate is the amount of hatred and violence there is in the world. Let's keep it at zero. No killing if they still hate, maybe just educate them.. forcefully? No cruelty, just straight up become open-minded."

Gender & Sexuality

Sinclair has often questioned his sexuality and gender. For his gender, he's "hardly been into sports" and finds it "jealous with how females get more access fashion," and if he did looked and acted how he really wanted "there would be a mixture of the two genders, possibly." For his sexuality, due to his inspirations having jokes of being gay, he's questioned whether he would be considered one but doesn't mind. He just really loves a good person but "finding a good person is hard and I'm probably never going to date again if somehow me and Ellie have a breakup."
