Concerning Kev
Q: What are you most known for?
A: Depends on what creative aspect you know me for, there are several.Q: I know you in person, why do you use "Ross Sinclair?" as your last name?
A: I want to disassociate from my family due to me not being connected and other things.Q: What are your missions?
A: To bring peace to the world, to just let everyone know I existed when I die. To let everyone know I'm not into whatever the elite world wants me to be, I want to let the "minority" world change me because they enjoy me for me, for my work. Not my money. Peace to the people! Peace to equality!Concerning Kev's Work
Q: What instruments and programs do you use?
A: I use FL Studio to make, mix, master. Audacity to record from my Sterling P2. I also use the M-Audio M-Track Solo for the audio interface. Now for instruments, my voice which is EXCLUSIVE to me, a red Fender Squier Sonic Stratocaster HT, and a Yahama PSR-E273.Q: What do you use to animate or draw?
A: Adobe Animate, Macromedia Flash 8, FireAlpaca, and Clip Studio Paint. While my beginning years, I used a website called Kleki.Q: What inspired you to do Music?
A: For music, it was Tally Hall, Panic! At The Disco, and My Chemical Romance.
Tally Hall allowed me to realize anything can be a song and there doesn't need to be an order. The second album also got me to realize that but also, with seriousness. I kind of made up my own meanings on the songs and they mean a lot more to me and I'm sure that's not what it's all about though.
Panic! At The Disco had Ryan Ross who had his struggles and I understood it. Especially the alcoholic dad part, my whole life until it was too late for him to win me back as his son. My dad died for a second, as you all know from the About page, and he heavily desensitized me of it. Even with that though, he still acts like as if he still drinks.
My Chemical Romance has Gerard Way. His interest in death is similar to mine. It's so scary and yet so interesting, I would also like to think that Death can come in any form when it arrives. I've thought about abusing my prescribed medication before but one day, I took the right dose and walked with my girlfriend, she took photos of me and my eyes looked off. When I came back home, my legs just gave up for a bit that I fell. I hadn't thought of suicide or overdosing for a while after that. And honestly, even though I feel glad to have fame a few times, maybe.. It does feel stressful to know if I continue, I'll have to bear the fact that my life will NOT be the same anymore. And like him, I want people to look at what's in the inside of my work, not the outside. You know?
Just for a funny thing, my music that's more electronic, it was mostly inspiration from Daft Punk. (you probably guessed it)
Q: What inspired you to do Art and Animation?
A: For art and animation, I would say a few animators growing up made me want to animate to express myself through the colors and my personal experiences.
Friday Night Funkin also played a part by introducing it's public files when I had motivation. With PhantomArcade allowing the game files to public, I learned colors and how to animate. Including the people who made mods who allowed their files to be out there.
Thanks to the Funkin' Team, and modders.
